Board Certified Emergency Physician Paul Allegra, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and the team take pride in providing prompt, compassionate care for the communities they serve.

Dr. Paul Allegra earned his Medical Degree at the University of Vermont College of Medicine and a Bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Notre Dame. He was trained at Cook County Hospital in Chicago and trauma centers in Newark, New Jersey. He also completed an emergency medicine residency at Hennepin County Medical Center.
Prior to Advocate Urgent Care, Dr. Allegra worked for St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Cambridge Medical Center, and the Mayo Health System, all in Minnesota. He is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
The physician has received numerous awards including Outstanding Physician Experience from Allina and Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence in Teaching. He has been a volunteer in Honduras, India, Haiti and the Dominican Republic as well as locations in the United States.
